Two new cases reported in Haliburton County Monday

There are three people currently in hospital because of the virus. A total of 98 cases of the novel coronavirus have been reported in Haliburton since the pandemic began. There were 13 new cases reported in Kawartha Lakes and 12 in Northumberland. That puts the active case count in those regions at 39 and 46 respectively. The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit did 600 tests in the past 24 hours. The test positivity rate, which is the percentage of tests coming back positive, is at 3.67-percent.
