Newark s covid-19 vaccination centre will open imminently.
Speaking at today s weekly covid-19 briefing, the medical director for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Dr Andrew Haynes, said the opening of Newark s centre would help the county meet the government s vaccination promise.
The Moderna vaccine will be available in the UK by spring (43884936)
He said: âThe centre, which is in the Newark area, will open next week. It is imminent. It will be made available to people who can access the service from Newark, but I am not in a position where I can reveal the site s location, but it is coming online.
