On Wednesday, Pettis County Deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 36000 block of Route KK. A suspect was identified, but was not yet located at the time of the report.
On Wednesday, John Walker reported to deputies that his license plates were stolen off his vehicle while it was parked at either the 400 block of North Magnolia, or Bothwell Regional Health Center. The plates were entered as stolen.
On Monday, Pettis County Deputies took an assault report of a special victim located at 333 South Lamine in Sedalia. Formal charges were requested for 3rd degree assault/special victim.

Two Injured in Morgan County Wreck
Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Morgan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the driver of a westbound 1999 Ford F-250 lost control on US 50, east of Old Route 50 at 7:20 a.m., due to road conditions, and caused a trailer he was hauling to swerve into oncoming traffic and an eastbound 2001 Chrysler Town & Country, driven by 38-year-old Emily M. Edwards of Columbia, struck the trailer.
Edwards suffered serious injuries, while the driver of the Ford, 34-year-old Jorge Ipina of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment by PCAD.
