1/1 A MAN has been found guilty of murdering his girlfriend in a jealous rage after she accidentally called him a pet name she used for someone else . Mark Brandford, of Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth, was today found guilty of 32-year-old Kayleigh Dunning’s murder by a jury sitting at Portsmouth Crown Court. He denied killing Kayleigh, who was found in his flat on Kingston Crescent with fatal sharp and blunt force injuries to her head and neck by paramedics shortly before 10pm on December 17, 2019. The court heard how Brandford stabbed and used a crowbar to murder Kayleigh while she was naked in his bed on the night of December 16, 2019.
Former Sussex school teacher in court accused of sexually assaulting boys A RETIRED teacher has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting boys at the prestigious Salisbury Cathedral School. Piers Le Cheminant faces charges over alleged incidents between 1965 and 1986, including at another school. The 75-year-old appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court via videolink on Tuesday afternoon. Le Cheminant, of Spitchwick Manor, Poundsgate, Newton Abbot, Devon, is also accused of indecently assaulting boys at Oakwood Preparatory School in Chichester. He is charged with a total of 15 offences of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14, according to the lists.
