AS of midnight, Friday, May 21, the HSE Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been notified of 381 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country.
A total of 110 people are in hospital with the condition with 42 in ICU. Daily case numbers may change due to future data validation.
A total of 524 new confirmed cases of the disease were reported in Ireland on Friday evening. There are no new reported deaths.

THERE are 469 new cases of Covid-19 in the country, according to latest figures released this Thursday evening.
As of midnight, Wednesday, May 19, the HSE Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been notified of 469 new confirmed cases of the virus.
A total of 103 people are in hospital with the condition and 38 are in ICU. Daily case numbers may change due to future data validation.

Covid-19 march in the south and west of Laois has been half in the past two weeks and also improved on the opposite side of the county but the progress has slowed around Portlaoise.
The latest Local Electoral Area (LEA) breakdown published on May 13 on the Covid-19 Ireland data hub covers the 14 days from April 27 to May 10.
There were just 13 new cases in
Portlaoise during these two weeks - down from 14 new cases in Portlaoise in the previous fortnight examined to May 3.
514 additional cases of Covid-19 confirmed nationally

There has been a total of 4,921 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland.
As of midnight, Saturday, May 8, the HPSC has been notified of 514 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
There has now been a total of 252,809 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.
Of the cases notified today:
259 are men / 248 are women
75% are under 45 years of age
The median age is 28 years old
As of 8am today, 116 Covod-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 31 are in ICU. 11 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
As of May 7, 1,799,190 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in Ireland:
