Amit Shah launches Ayushman CAPF scheme for 28 lakh central force personnel
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday launched the Ayushman CAPF plan, extending the healthcare benefits of the Central health insurance scheme to the seven Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and their dependents.
During a function at the CRPF Group Centre at Amingaon in Guwahati, the Home Minister distributed Ayushman CAPF health cards among seven personnel from the seven different CAPFs.
Under the Ayushman CAPF scheme, around 28 lakh personnel from seven CAPFs Central Reserve Police Force, Assam Rifles, National Security Guard, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal and their families would be covered by the Ayushman Bharat: Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).

GUWAHATI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday lambasted those who have been criticising the efficacies of COVID-19 vaccines, saying that there should be no politics on public health.
At a function in Guwahati to extend the benefit of the central health insurance programme to all the armed police forces in India by launching Ayushman CAPF , Shah urged the personnel to get inoculated when their turn comes.
Amit Shah said the 'Ayushman CAPF' scheme has gifted access of healthcare providers to about 28 lakh CAPFs, Assam Rifles and NSG personnel and their families in all states where PMJAY is operational.

Mr Shah launched Ayushman CAPF in Guwahati to extend the benefit of the central health insurance programme to all the armed police forces in India and urged the personnel to get inoculated. There are some people who are spreading misinformation on vaccine. Come to another platform and let s have a duel. But why are you creating doubt over people s health and doing politics? There are other issues for that, he said.
