Mumbai: Nationalist Congress party leader Nawab Mallik has said that no one is above the law a day after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) intensified its investigation in the drugs case against his son-in-law.
The NCP leader took to Twitter and tweeted, “Nobody is above the law and it should be applied without any discrimination. Law will take its due course and justice will prevail. I respect and have immense faith in our judiciary.”

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 14 (ANI): Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik s son-in-law, Sameer Khan, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday in connection with a drug case, has been sent to NCB custody till January 18.
Earlier today, Sameer was sent for a medical check-up after which he was produced before a court.
Atul Sarpande, Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) of NCB said that other accused in the drug case namely Rahila Furniturewala and Karan Sajnani were also sent to NCB custody till January 16.
Nawab Malik s son-in-law Sameer Khan was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday in a drug-related case. On Thursday, NCB conducted a raid at his Bandra residence, reported ANI.

Mumbai, Jan 13 : In a major embarrassment for the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is questioning Samir Khan, the son-in-law of Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik in a drugs case, sources said on Wednesday.
According to NCB sources, Khan was asked to appear before the agency in a drugs related case after a few transactions between him and a drug peddler were noticed.
The source said he appeared before the drug law enforcement agency on Wednesday morning and his statement was being recorded.
