Hai Phong to build 67 parks to improve city

Hai Phong Party Committee has asked Hai Phong People s Committee to speed up the process to complete procedures and disburse funds to build 67 parks during the 2021-2022 period.
This is part of a project to improve the urban area landscape and boost the new village model.
The city authorities have asked related parties to research and have detailed planning for the project. If necessary, the administrative boundaries can be adjusted or the park premise can be expanded to 10,000 square metres, set up resettlement and rearrange the residential areas.

Vietnamese wholesale markets confirm drop in waste
According to the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, due to partial treatment at the source, the amount of waste relative to the total amount of agricultural products reaching the focus of Ho Chi Minh City tends to decrease.
Since 2018, the city government has been advising the shopkeepers of the wholesale market and the relevant authorities of the two main agricultural product supply provinces of Lin Dong and Bente provinces to ban unprocessed agricultural products.
The people’s committee said the waste that came with vegetables and fruits to the Binh Dien wholesale market in Binh Chanh district, Thu Duc wholesale market and Hoc Mon wholesale market last year was 173 tonnes per night, 60-65 tonnes less than in 2018.

Hanoi reports case of COVID-19 relapse
A patient has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 again after being given the all-clear, the Hanoi Centre of Disease Control (CDC Hanoi) said on February 25.
The 48-year-old patient, who resides in Dich Vong ward in Cau Giay district, has been taken to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases for further quarantine and treatment.
The case does not pose any risk of community transmission, Deputy Director of CDC Hanoi Khong Minh Tuan said.
Hanoi had reported 36 COVID-19 cases between January 27 and 12pm on February 25, according to the municipal Department of Health.
