Antony, (much like his Bridgerton counterpart) is rakishly handsome, and a little standoffish upon first meeting, but don't let that initial act fool you! Once you win over Antony's good graces, he's an absolute lover, snuggler, and all-around softy. He came from a home with lots of other kitties, so he wouldn't mind having a furry friend!
Say hello to Bubba! Bubba has stolen staff and volunteer's hearts, and it's no surprise as to why! He is such an easy-going boy who just wants to be outside, sniff all scents he can, and lay in the grass to sunbathe.
Chief is Our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday
Amy from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn t able to come into the studio yesterday morning due to COVID-19, but we talked on the phone about Chief!
Say hello to Chief, Commander of Cuteness! This handsome, 6-year old boy loves going for walks and exploring the yards at HSWM. Chief has previously lived with other dogs and may do well in a home with another dog friend. He would do best in a home with older, respectful kids if kids are present in the adopter s home. Chief LOVES to play, is great on a leash, on car rides, and loves soft, stuffy toys and has a smile that just won’t quit!

A group of organizations formed an alliance that will provide service and support for animal shelters facing urgent needs.
The BPF National Shelter Alliance will provide shelters with consistent access to crisis management and stabilization. Shelters that lack resources will be connected with state and regional shelters before, during and after a crisis. While there is no specific plan that can fit every shelter, local and regional partners will work to keep the program nimble, BPF said.
The alliance will support Code 3 Associates with the placement of animals from cruelty and disaster situations, as well as prepare shelters for disaster planning and response. In addition, the network’s shelter partners will provide opportunities for overwhelmed shelters, make training accessible for all shelters, and empower shelter staff by providing resources and referrals during crises.
