Planning commission meetings scheduled
COSHOCTON - The Coshocton County Regional Planning Commission executive committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. May 10 in the conference room of Coshocton County Commissioners.
The full board meeting for May 17 has been canceled. The next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. June 21 at the Frontier Power Community Room.
Board of DD not meeting
COSHOCTON - The Coshocton County Board of Developmental Disabilities will not meet this month as board members will receive three hours of required training on May 12.

Board of DD slated to meet
ZANESVILLE - The Muskingum County Board of Developmental Disabilities will meet at 5:30 p.m. May 13 at the board office, 1304 Newark Road.
Scholarship scramble upcoming
ZANESVILLE - The Myron and Ruth Goins Memorial Scholarship Foundation s third annual 18-hole golf scramble will be at 8:30 a.m. July 18 at Fuller s Fairways.
Cost is $220 per team with a registration deadline of June 30. Those interested can call 740-586-7032 or email gmconstruction@columbus.rr.com. Field is limited to 25 teams.
Dalton Summers exiting at River View superintendent
Summers still to live in district while serving as superintendent for the Ohio Valley Educational Service Center
He is becoming superintendent of the Ohio Valley Educational Service Center.
Summers was previous superintendent at Rolling Hills and was a principal at Meadowbrook and Caldwell.
Summers plans to continue living in the district and have his three sons go to River View.
WARSAW – River View Local Schools will be looking for a new superintendent upon the resignation of Dalton Summers, effective July 31.
The board of education approved the resignation at its regular meeting Tuesday evening. It will now accept resumes from internal candidates from April 14 to 20. The board will do interviews on April 21 and announce a possible hire on April 23. If an internal candidate isn’t hired, Summers said they will reach out to the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center to assist with a superintendent search.
