A 36-year-old woman was shot to death in her home on Christmas Day, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff s Office.
Deputies found Tanisha Jones dead in a home on Broadway Avenue in Conroe. The sheriff s office said Jones had been involved in an altercation with a 41-year-old woman and gotten into a struggle over control of a firearm; during the struggle, it discharged. The other woman was arrested on other warrants. The sheriff s office did not say to whom the gun belonged.
