Hamidi Suhaili on Monday pleaded guilty before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles to committing the offences between Dec 14, 2018 and Jan 12, 2019 here. On the first count, Hamidi was sentenced to 16 months’ jail for deceiving  Herman Jayrat Dzainuddin into believing that he (Hamidi) was managing a project under the Human Resource Development Department (JPSM) registered under the name of Alt Inspection Services through five General Works Orders (GWOs) and have fraudulently induced Herman to hand over RM84,000 to him.

Azrul Adjeran, who appeared before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles, was accused of committing the offence at 5.45pm on May 4, this year in front of a security guard kiosk at Taman Bakti Ikhlas in Inanam. However, no plea was recorded from Azrul after the charge was read out to him, who was in central lock up in Kepayan, via video conferencing. ADVERTISEMENT The charge under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, carries a punishment with either the death penalty or life in prison and whipping with a minimum of 15 strokes.

Md Rahmat Md Musneh, 26, pleaded guilty before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles to committing the offence at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman here at 1.30am on April 7. The prosecution informed the court that Rahmat was seen climbing the fence of the mosque from outside and walked towards the toilet. ADVERTISEMENT A security guard who saw Rahmat trespassing into the area, apprehended him and handed him to police. Rahmat was charged under Section 447 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to six months or fine of up to RM3,000 or both on conviction.
