He told TOI that he restrained himself until elections were over to air his views. My primary loyalty is to the party. But I decided to raise my concerns after the election was over, Roy said. While he ensured Prime Minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah who led BJP’s high-pitched campaign in the state against Banerjee, were absolved, he squarely blamed other central and state leaders for the poll debacle.
