The Middlesex District Attorney s Office is investigating the death of a 16-year-old girl from Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
Mikayla Miller was found dead at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, April 18. The district attorney s office said at the time that the death was not considered suspicious but the case remained open and active.

In a statement issued Sunday, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan called Mikayla s death a tragedy and an unimaginable loss for her family and the entire community. We know that everyone mourning her is seeking answers, Ryan added.

Four words have been circulating on Twitter in the past 24 hours: “Justice for Mikayla Miller.”
Miller, a 16-year-old Hopkinton girl, was found dead on the morning of April 19. At the time, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s office said foul play wasn’t suspected in the teenager’s death, WHDH reported.
Since then, family members and loved ones of the girl have taken to social media to question the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death. A vigil and rally is now planned later this week to both honor Miller and demand answers from Ryan’s office.

Death of 16-year-old girl in Hopkinton under investigation

The death of a teenage girl found dead in Hopkinton on Monday morning remains under investigation, according to news outlets.
Police responded to an emergency call around 7:45 a.m. on Monday and found the 16-year-old girl dead, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s office told WHDH.
The district attorney’s office said no foul play is suspected in the girl’s death at this time, according to the news outlet.
Ryan’s office has yet to release the teenager’s name to the public.
No additional information about the girl’s death was immediately available on Tuesday morning.
