A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A519.
Emergency services were called to the A519 near Hanchurch when a motorcycle hit the side of van shortly after 7pm on Friday (May 14).

A man was flown to hospital with serious injuries after being rescued from a machine at a sawmill near Ellesmere .

The man had to be rescued from a machine at ETC Sawmills at about 11am today, Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said.
He was helped by three fire crews before being taken to hospital for treatment.
Jordan Eggington from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10.50am to [Elson Road] in Ellesmere. We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene. Crews arrived to find one patient, a man. He was treated at the scene for serious injuries, and flown to the major trauma centre at Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment.”
A WOMAN has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in a house fire in Herefordshire. Three Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford fire station were called to reports of the fire just before 4.30pm on Sunday, May 9, at Much Dewchurch. A fire service spokesperson said one female casualty in her 70s with severe burns was treated by the ambulance service. An ambulance service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.30pm on Sunday to reports of a house fire at a property in Much Dewchurch. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and two Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) doctors attended the scene.
