A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murder of PCSO Julia James.
James, a well-respected police community support officer known for her work helping domestic violence victims, was found dead in Akholt Wood near her home in Snowdown, Kent, on 27 April.
Callum Wheeler, from Aylesham, has been charged with her murder, Kent Police said.
He remains in custody and is due to appear via videolink at Medway Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Detectives investigating the death of PCSO Julia James have staged a reconstruction of her final walk featuring her loyal canine companion, Toby, the Jack Russell.
Exactly two weeks on from the discovery of her body in woodland in Kent, an actress, wearing the same outfit as the 53-year-old, retraced her steps as she went on her final dog walk.

A 21-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with the murder of PCSO Julia James.
The 53-year-old was found dead in Akholt Wood near her home in Snowdown, Kent, on April 27.
Callum Wheeler, from Aylesham, appeared in person at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Wearing a grey jumper and flanked by two security officers in the dock, Wheeler spoke hesitantly to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Wheeler was arrested on Friday and charged on Monday.

Police investigating the death of community support officer Julia James have charged a 21-year-old man with her murder.
Ms James, 53, was found dead on 27 April near Akholt Wood, Snowdown, near Dover, having suffered serious head injuries.
Callum Wheeler, from Aylesham, was arrested at 21:30 BST on Friday.
He remains in custody and is due to appear via video link at Medway Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Ms James had worked for Kent Police since 2008, and her family said she was fiercely loyal and loved with her whole heart .
She died from severe head injuries and had been walking her dog near her home at the time, police said.
