Police, paramedics, and firefighters were called to the Orne and Devine Bakery in Eccleshall Road, Stone, shortly before 11.30am today after the car ploughed through the shopfront.

A spokesman said: We were called by West Midlands Ambulance Service at about 11.30am today to reports of a car colliding into a shop window in Stone. A car had crashed into the window of Orne & Devine The Bakery on Eccleshall Road and gone through into the bakery. Two women – the driver of the car aged in her 80s and a passer by – had suffered minor injuries.
