A man has been taken to hospital after his car landed on its roof on the A500 this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction of the A500 and the B5045 Shelton New Road at around 3.20am following the accident. One lane was closed until 9.30am while emergency repairs were carried out on a damaged street light.
A spokeswoman said: We were called at 3.21am to reports of an RTC at the junction of the A500 and the B5045.

The incident happened at Asda in the Cornbow Centre, Halesowen AN ELDERLY woman has been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after falling down an escalator in Halesowen. The Midlands Air Ambulance was sent to the scene after the woman fell down an escalator in the Cornbow Shopping Centre outside Asda. The accident happened at 12.49pm today (Monday April 12). A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: We were called to a patient, an elderly lady, who had reportedly fallen down an escalator. She was taken to Russells Hall hospital with potentially serious injuries. A second patient, a man, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.

Paramedics attended an incident at Coventry central library this afternoon.
Two ambulances were in attendance at the library at Smithford Way in the city centre.
