Speaking at a press event in Taipei, CECC spokesman Chuang Jen-hsiang (莊人祥) said the latest result was based on feedback provided by the Vietnamese authorities. Chuang said there is a possibility the initial positive test may have been due to a false positive. The case involved a woman in her 30s who returned to her home country on Dec. 30 and tested positive for COVID-19 last Saturday.
