During the presentation, CEO of Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) Christoph Schnellmann, COO of YIAPL Kiran Jain, YIAPL’s Sunil Joshi, CEO of Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) Dr Arun Vir Singh were present. The event was also attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation, S P Goyal and Director, Civil Aviation, UP, Shri Surendra Singh.

Lucknow, Dec 18 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given his approval to the name, design and logo of the airport proposed at Jewar which will be the second major airport in Delhi-NCR and is designed to take the load off Delhi s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The name Noida International Airport was finalized during a meeting with the Swiss company Zurich AG officials in Lucknow on Thursday.

According to UP officials, the airport on the outskirts of Delhi is being designed on the lines of the world-class London, Milan and Moscow airports.
“This airport will become the pride of India and will be one of the best in the world,” CM Adityanath was quoted as saying on Thursday. “We will present it as a global brand.
The CM added that the airport will boost development of industrial infrastructure in the state, increase employment opportunities and have a positive impact on manufacturing and exports.

The proposed greenfield airport at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh s Gautam Buddha Nagar will now be officially known as Noida International Airport. The nomenclature of the greenfield airport was finalised by Zurich Airport International and UP government in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, according to an official statement.
The airport is being developed by Swiss developer Zurich Airport International AG. The company has finalised the design, logo and name for the airport, which was later reviewed by CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday.
