The government of Uttar Pradesh plans to build a new city near Agra, half the size of Noida, to accommodate the population surge from Noida International Airport. The city aims for sustainable growth, promoting the investment climate and economic development.
Plans to connect the Noida airport with various cities via road, railway, and a Namo Bharat corridor are set to get a major boost over the next few months. A 700m stretch linking the Yamuna Expressway with the airport and a 31km road connecting the speedway with the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Ballabhgarh are expected to be ready in April.
