A MULTI AGENCY operation took place in Denbighshire last night to rescue a casualty who had fallen into a difficult to access location . North East Wales Search and Rescue team joined the Wales Air Ambulance, Welsh Ambulance Service and the Coastguard at the scene in Denbigh at 8.20pm. Reports from eyewitnesses in the area suggested that someone had fallen down a cliff, although this has not been confirmed by the relevant agencies as yet. A statement from North East Wales Search and Rescue regarding the incident read: At 8:20pm on Tuesday we were called to assist at a multi agency incident in Denbigh. A casualty needed moving from a difficult to access location so they could be taken to hospital by helicopter. The pictures show the final part of the journey to the waiting Coastguard helicopter.
A rescue operation was carried out in Wrexham today after a person was injured.
