Hayden Kent, 26, of Severn Grove, was the driver of a Seat Ibiza when it crashed into a garden fence in Sutton Park Road on May 1 last year, smashing three fence panels and concrete posts which were scattered across the lawn. He then left the scene. At Worcester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 7, Kent was fined £440 after pleading guilty to the offence under the Road Traffic Offenders Act. Magistrates also ordered him to pay £155 in costs. Five points will be added to his licence.

A 22-YEAR-OLD man from Kidderminster was banned from the road after he admitted driving while under the influence of drugs. Patrick Evans, of Exeter Close, drove an Audi A3 in Habberley Road on September 4 last year when the proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood exceeded the legal limit. At Kidderminster Magistrates Court on February 12, he was fined £180 and must also pay a £34 victim surcharge and £135 to the CPS. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months. Evans also admitted breaching a community order made by the same court in October, by failing to attend unpaid work, for which he was fined another £100.
