On June 8, 2021, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 25-year-old Taylor Marie Habina and charged her with one count of Leaving the Scene of an Accident Causing Death. Habina’s bond was set at $75,000.
On June 9, 2021, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 46-year-old Jason Christopher Smith and charged him with one count of Accessory After the Fact and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence. Smith’s bond was set at $100,000.
On May 29, 2021, at approximately 1:05 a.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to a hit and run in the area of Lorraine Road and Intraplex Parkway.
