Human Skeletal Remains Found in Benton County
The Sheriff s Office was notified of the discovery on Thursday afternoon.

Detectives working with the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab and the Kennewick Police Department believe the remains are from one adult and have been there for some time.
The Benton County Coroner s Office will work to determine the cause and time of death. A DNA test will also be performed to identify the deceased.

Arlington Police are investigating an April 10 shooting that claimed a male victim in the parking lot of the Puget Sound Kidney Center. Â
Officers found the victim, who had been shot in the head, when they responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Saturday in the 18800 block of Smokey Point Blvd.Â
The police departmentâs Investigation Unit and investigators from the Washington State Patrol Crime Laboratory have responded.Â
Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.

The Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on Wednesday released all investigative materials received for the fatal Feb. 4 police shooting of Jenoah Donald in Hazel Dell.
Prosecutors received the investigation Monday from the Southwest Washington Independent Investigative Response Team, led by the Vancouver Police Department. Office staff spent much of Wednesday looking through the materials and redacting information that is not subject to public disclosure.

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. Court documents are revealing differing accounts of an incident between a Spokane County Sheriff s deputy and property owner in Chattaroy that led to an exchange of gunfire.
Lloyd Vaughn, a 41-year-old man who lives in Elk, Washington but has a property in Chattaroy, suffered a gunshot wound during the altercation on March 7. He was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where he underwent surgery, and has since been released.
