PDEA spokesperson Derrick Arnold Carreon identified the suspects as Police Lt. Reynato Basa Jr., Police Corporal Gino dela Cruz, Police Corporal Edesyr Victor Alipio, Police Corporal Godfrey Duclayan Parentela, and Jericho Dabu.
The raiding team seized 300 grams of shabu, five cellular phones, various laboratory equipment used in the manufacture of illegal drugs, four Glock 17 9mm with serial numbers PNP55624, PNP65664, PNP65993, and PNP12606; a Honda Civic VTI 1996 model with license plates UKM 779, and bundles of boodle money with one genuine P1,000 bill on top.
Carreon said that the operation was conducted on 336-B FineBack St. where the suspects were nabbed at around 1 a.m.

+ January 15, 2021 The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is eyeing three angles in the killing of the money lender at DC1, Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City on January 12.
Police identified the victim as Joefrrey Parandas, 59, of said barangay.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of BCPO, said yesterday, January 14, they are looking into personal grudges, business or drug related motives in the killing of Parandas.
He said Parandas has a lending business and in previous years, he was also involved in illegal drugs but he managed to evade arrest.
January 15, 2021 TWO suspected drug personalities were killed while three others were arrested during separate buy-bust operations in Eastern Visayas on Thursday, January 14, 2021.
In Catbalogan City, police said Lucio Abarcar was killed in a shootout after he drew his gun and fired towards the arresting officers during the anti-drug operation around 11:15 p.m. Thursday in Barangay 2, Salug.
A poseur buyer managed to buy three sachets containing suspected shabu worth P25,000 from the suspect.
Authorities also recovered from the scene a caliber .45 with serial number 132784 loaded with 5 pieces cartridge, four pieces fired cartridge cases, 18 sachets containing suspected shabu, and 14 tablets.
The recovered drug items had an estimated weight of 30 grams and estimated street value of P300,000, police said.
The Bureau of Customs, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and Ninoy Aquino International Airport-Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) seized 535 pieces of ecstasy tablets with a street value of P1 million in an air parcel at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC).
