Candidate forums scheduled ahead of Milford election

MILFORD The nonpartisan resident group Citizens for Milford will hold candidate forums next month for four of the five contested races in the April 6 local election.
There are 15 elected jobs up for grabs in local government. School Committee, moderator, Parks Commission, Board of Assessors and library trustees all collected enough candidates for races.
The three people running for two available library trustee terms declined a candidate forum, but Citizens for Milford will devote an evening to each of the remaining four races.

Residents of Washington’s third ward can learn more about the two candidates running to represent them on the city council this Saturday.
The Washington Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidates’ Forum on Zoom with Haleigh Brockman and Illa Earnest who are running for the seat that was vacated by Brendan DeLong after being elected the fire chief.
