Bangladesh allrounder Mahmudullah Riyad has said that the Tigers are yet to demonstrate their best brand of cricket in the ongoing three-match series against Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh have already sealed the series winning the first two games on May 23 and 25. Both teams are now set to lock horns in the final game on May 28 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
“I think we’re yet to demonstrate our best cricket. We have discussed it amongst ourselves. So we’ll try to play our best cricket (in the last game). I think our top-order suffered a collapse in both of the games and middle-order and late middle-order also disappointed to deliver well. I think we could do better in these areas, and we’re looking into it,” Mahmudullah told reporters on Thursday.

DHAKA, May 23, 2021 (BSS) Emboldened by the victory in the first match, Bangladesh eyes to clinch the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka with a game to spare as they take on Island nation in the second game tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
The match starts at 1 pm and will be aired live on Gazi TV and T Sports.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are in tomorrow’s weather forecast but Bangladesh would like to get some match time to clinch the series.
The Tigers won the first game by 33 runs, surviving a Wanindu Hasaranga scare, who blasted 60 ball-74. It was a spot of bother for the hosts alongside many others despite winning the first game.

DHAKA: Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal urged his team to give the maximum as they bid to maintain their home dominance against Sri Lanka in the One-day International series starting on Sunday.
Bangladesh have totted up a strong record at home, winning all but one of their 12 matches since October 2018, though all of the victories were struggling Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
However, they lost 3-0 to Sri Lanka the last time they met in a one-day series, in Colombo in 2019.
