On Friday, the government had imposed a weekend lockdown in nine districts Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panchkula, Sonipat, Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, Sirsa, and Fatehabad from 10 pm on Friday till 5 am on Monday. The other restrictions that were recently put in place to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 include imposition of prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC and night curfew.
