Kingston Police arrest four alleging theft of copper wire, tools

Wicked Local KINGSTON – The theft of copper wire, tools and a truck and trailer from a construction site in Kingston, police say, may be part of a coordinated crime spree that has resulted in multiple arrests. A multi-agency investigation into the theft of copper wire that occurred at a large construction site in the south part of Kingston began Jan. 9 and resulted in the arrest of the three men and one woman Friday, April 2. The Kingston Police allege that more than $150,000 of copper wire, thousands of dollars of tools, and a truck and trailer  to transport the goods were stolen. They also allege that tens of thousands of dollars in damage was done to other property to identify and steal the property of value.
