One additional death and 29 new COVID-19 cases were reported as of noon Tuesday, according to Herkimer County Public Health.
That brings the death toll to 67 and the number of lab-confirmed positive test results to 4,967 since mid-March.
There were 650 active cases in the county with 37 patients hospitalized as of Tuesday. A total of 4,250 have recovered from the illness.
The number of negative test results now totals 92,281.
There were 745 people in mandatory quarantine with Public Health orders; 290 were released. A total of 440 are in precautionary quarantine; 180 were released.
Herkimer County’s first confirmed case of COVID-19 was announced March 12, with the second announced March 19. The county’s first coronavirus death was announced March 26, an 85-year-old with underlying health conditions.
