Undera rock, a dinghy, wrapped in plastic, and ready to inflate. smugglers now often stash the boats separate from their passengers, to stop them being taken if theres a raid by the police. david shows me the route down to the beach. "the smugglers would get wind of a police patrol up to two hours before it reached them," he says.
