Mr Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, says the Government is committed to the task of the successful completion of the Boankra Inland Port project in the Ejisu Municipality to boost economic growth .

This project, owned by the Ghana Shippers Authority GSA, with the support of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority GPHA, and the Ministry of Transport, is currently funded by the government of Ghana.
