About 30 people attended a public presentation of Martinsvilles new budget Thursday night at the Thomas P. Dalton IDEA Center on Fayette Street. The emphasis of the presentation centered on a refocusing of Martinsvilles vision for the future, post-reversion.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) announced on Friday that the city of Martinsville will receive $2.8 million for the renovation of the former BB&T building at One Ellsworth Street in uptown Martinsville.
