ELLSWORTH — Acadia Car Wash, a fully automated two-bay car wash, has opened on the corner of Deane Street and High Street.

A two-bay automated car wash on High Street at the Deane Street intersection will move forward after months of discussion. South Berwick businessman Aaron Wiswell found unanimous Planning Board approval on April 6, after submitting revised final review plans that addressed noise and traffic concerns.

With the preliminary plan approval, Wiswell and McCullough will next return with a final application for the project.
