Abel Lebele News Today

The so-called Ekurhuleni 'graveyard rapist' has been handed three life sentences plus 30 years after he raped a woman, two teenagers and a child at a Tsakane cemetery.

A traumatised rape victim battled to control her tears when she described how she was abducted on her way to school to write an exam, taken to the Tsakane Cemetery, raped and left there by convicted serial rapist Abel Lebele.

"Goodbye. I will see you." Convicted serial rapist Abel Lebele, 43, whispered and smiled to his father as he was led to the holding cells of the Gauteng High Court sitting in the Benoni Magistrate's Court to await sentencing.

The man known as the Tsakane graveyard serial rapist, Petetona Abel Lebele, was on Monday found guilty of four counts of rape and four counts of kidnapping by the Pretoria high court, sitting in Benoni.
