Both the actors, who are loved by their audiences for their charm and acting prowess on screen, have announced the release of their romantic drama, titled “Booking”, by revealing the poster of the short film on Tuesday (February 6).

The screenplay of this second film of the series has been adapted from the immensely acclaimed Bangladeshi novelist Qazi Anwar Hossain’s original spy-thriller novel titled “Operation Chitah”. Abdul Aziz, chairman of Jaaz Multimedia, wrote the screenplay and dialogues for the film.

Along with Farin, the film features a star-studded cast, including musician Pantha Kanai, Yash Rohan, Manosh Bandyopadhyay, Tariq Anam Khan, Shatabdi Wadud, Shahed Ali, Aysha Monica, ABM Sumon, amongst others.

Amongst them, one is titled “Gayeeya”, which will star Prarthona Fardin Dighi under the direction of Gias Uddin Selim. This short film marks their first collaboration together. Khairul Basar will be seen opposite Dhighi in this film, while her father Shahrukh Fardin Subrata will also play a pivotal role in this production.

The first Bangladeshi cyber-thriller movie, “Antarjal”, is slated for its exclusive online premiere on the digital entertainment platform Toffee starting tomorrow (December 21). Viewers can enjoy the film for free across various networks on Android and iOS devices and Android TV. The film will serve as a gift to audiences nationwide in celebration of Victory Day.

Star Cineplex organised a special segment to honour films that have left an indelible imprint on people's hearts. Films such as "Antarjal," "Prohelika," and "1971 Shei Shob Din" were honoured with flowers and accolades on stage. 

Following "Dhaka Attack" and "Operation Sundarbans", Dipankar Dipon has created Bangladesh's first cybercrime thriller, "Antarjal", featuring a stellar cast that includes Siam Ahmed, Bidya Sinha Mim, Sunerah Binte Kamal, and ABM Sumon.

For the first time in Bangladesh's showbiz industry, a local film will be screened in more foreign multiplexes than domestic cinemas upon its theatrical release.
