Good morning. Sarah tracking this area precipitation. Northern edge of the system that will be passing with will well to the south that will get close enough to clip parts of southeastern massachusetts with a few rain showers. Currently most of us mostly cloudy and vary in places like keene and to the 30s across northwestern areas of boston. 40 degrees and down across the southeast in the mid40s. Temperatures really not going to budge too much as the cloud cover stays pretty consistent. I will want to point out the further north and west we go likely a little sunshine. The further south and east you go, rain showers will be moving across the area and likely a pretty rainy day or morning or early afternoon for parts of the cape and island. The 30s right now, as we take a live look at the city of boston. Lots of clouds in todays forecast. Notice the wind out of the north it is going to feel very cool out there, in fact, feels like it is below freezing in boston. Take a look though at the radar because we are watching an ocean storm thats going to just graze us. It is starting to bring the risk of some showers to the southcoast and i say risk because not all the precipitation actually making it to the ground right now really going to have to watch that throughout the morning. Further north and west you go, you will see some breaks in the cloud cover with the temperatures in the 20s and 30s. 40s will continue for the southeast and notice the rain chill trying to lift north and west but really wont get much further than boston, besides a sprinkle or two by the afternoon we start to see improvement, but stuck in the 40s today. People out of the home but, unfortunately, we just learned within the last half an hour or so that both have died. The fire happening here at 474 burncoat street in the Greendale Dale neighborhood north of downtown. Firefighters got the call a little before 8 00 this evening. A deputy fire chief tells me it didnt look that bad from the outside but as soon as they get in he says the house was just filled with smoke and the fire was growing. Were told the victims are an elderly man and woman. Both were found unresponsive on the first floor of the two story home. The firefighters carried them out and began c. P. R. Resuscitation efforts continued as they were taken to the hospital. Doctors there at the hospital pronounced both dead shortly after they arrived. Where they were found there wasnt a lot of fire damage. Smoke is as deadly as the fire itself. The actual cause of death medical examiner but unfortunately, they were unable to make an escape before it was too late. Back to a live pi
