SC educators weigh in on new student growth measure for accountability | Stories
This summer, the EOC met with over 300 educators around the state to discuss the Added-Value Growth measure that will provide schools with specific, individual growth target scores focused on all students reaching grade-level proficiency. The model, approved by the EOC in April 2022, is to provide the basis for the Student Progress indicator for elementary and middle schools, and it is set to be fully implemented as a school accountability measure by school year 2023-24.
