Countdown to “spectacular” Mardi-Gras themed Ilkley Carnival begins

The clock is ticking as the countdown begins to what is being billed as Ilkley’s “most colourful – and biggest” carnival ever.

ADDINGHAM Primary School is celebrating after receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating across the board in their most recent Ofsted inspection.

David and Sarah Crabtree, of The Raikes, donated the Galaxy tablets to Addingham Primary School. Before the pandemic, the school and the home had developed strong links – with pupils visiting The Raikes to read to residents, give concerts and sing. The youngsters enjoyed visiting The Raikes Care Home in Silsden to read to the residents.
