ESCANABA — Adele Kivi of Escanaba will be 100 years young on Feb. 2. She was born in Bessemer Township, married Hugo Kivi of Ironwood/Erwin Township in 1942, and lived in the Ironwood/Bessemer area until the family moved to Escanaba in 1957. Kivi is loved by her son Ron and daughter-in-law Carol of Sun Prairie, Wis. and daughter Bonnie King of Escanaba; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom call her “The Great One.” Kivi has live...
