Tuesday runoff will decide next Montgomery City Council member The seat has been vacant since longtime councilman Tracy Larkin died Jan. 5 after an extended illness. Voters will choose between Marche Johnson and Adrienne Larkin. Army veteran and community advocate Johnson, who lost a runoff to Tracy Larkin by six votes in 2019, secured 39% of the votes on March 23. Adrienne Larkin, who is former councilman Tracy Larkin s widow, forced the runoff by landing 26% of the vote. Only 800 of the 14,265 registered voters in the precinct cast ballots on March 23. District 3 covers much of north central Montgomery, from south of Interstate 85 to Elmore County.
