Google recently removed a nefarious Android banking trojan from the Play Store, after it accumulated over 10,000 downloads on the Play Store. The malware is capable of recording a user’s screen to capture their login credentials, and was targeted at users in specific regions to avoid being caught. Users will have to remove the infected app manually if they have downloaded it to their smartphones, according to the researchers.
