Who’d have thought a pickle hunt would evolve into a much-anticipated community event? Thats whats happened in Loudonville.

Morgan, owner of Axle Machines in rural Lakeville, was recognized at Thursdays annual banquet for his many acts of community service and generosity.

"For years, the fair has allowed our organization to show our quilt projects to be judged and shared with fairgoers," said quilter Richelle Nicholas.

In total, 13 pickles will be hidden up until Christmas. Those who find them will receive a prize package.
