I read Alan Mossman’s letter on cycling (3 March 21) with interest. Although we disagree on a number of things, I’m sure there’s some we agree on. The county council is committed to playing its part in fighting the climate emergency –that’s why, among a lot of other things, we’ve cut our carbon emissions by 97% since 2007. I agree more cycling can play an important part in that too – that’s why we’ve continually invested in cycling infrastructure, and will keep doing so. W...
