Just days before the deadline, Saratoga County DA Karen Heggens office filed an appeal to county Judge James A. Murphy IIIs decision to dismiss the indictment against off-duty Vermont sheriffs deputy Vito Caselnova in the downtown Saratoga Springs gunfight last November.
