New council leaders and their cabinet have been selected following the local elections.

A strategy has been approved by Eastbourne cabinet councillors to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping in the town.

An ‘exciting’ new plan for affordable housing in the town has been revealed by Eastbourne Community Land Trust (ECLT).

More than 280 new council homes are being developed across Eastbourne, says the council.
