01/15/21 An Iowa City man who was wanted on weapons charges from July and a theft charge from September has been taken into custody. Police say that they were called to the 2700 block of Wayne Avenue on reports of a 911 hangup just before 2am on July 23 rd.  While enroute, they were informed that there was a female with a broken leg, and dispatch received several calls about a fight in the area and a man with a gun.
