A new study finds that foreign-born workers in Switzerland are disproportionately found in low-wage professions in which recruitment is difficult. Among teachers and police officers, on the other hand, the number of immigrants is low.

When returning to their home countries, expats are frequently taxed again on pension fund assets accumulated in Switzerland, at rates that can reach up to 60%. But there is a way around this.

"(I said) 'Are you sure? Because mom was over 101 years old and kind of worn out,'" quipped Bert.
