Three to See Edmonton Events: Skinamarink talk, Alberta Craft receptions and Edmonton Poetry Fest

Fibre artist Deanne Underwood typically crafts mountain scenes and sweeping prairie landscapes. We join Underwood in her Edmonton studio to see how she creates her work, which is part of the free Minutiae exhibit at the feature gallery of the Alberta Craft Council.

Edmonton is fixing to light up for the holidays with sales, sleigh rides, visits from Santa and at least one brand new festival.

All four artists took home $15,000 each, a bump of $5,000 from last year’s awards.
